Wow!! What a big day it was at YCST today! All students were dismissed at 12:42 so that all teachers could hold parent/teacher conferences in the afternoon. Then, the technical teachers held their Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) meetings (which began with a wonderful dinner, pictured above). These committees advise the technical teachers in what's needed in industry, and the teachers talk to the committee members about what the school is doing to prepare our students.
The academic teachers hosted more parent/teacher conferences in the evening. It was awesome to see all the visitors down in the Man/Tran academy today.
